David Spashett To Tamiya

  Just as the first Formula 1 Grand Prix is about to be run in Melourne /Australia, multiple World and European Champion David Spashett has signed for Team Tamiya TRF and will run Tamiya cars at all up-coming electric touring car races. David will join current World Champion Marc Rheinard and Steen Graversen to form an extremely strong European Tamiya team.



The news comes after months of rumors that David was looking for a new car sponsor. David's move will be a big blow to the Losi team who also lost Paul Lemieux a few months ago.



David will continue to run Peak motors and batteries to power his TRF car. David's first international race for his new team will be the LRP Touring Car Masters which will be held in Eppelheim, Germany on April 22-24.
