The Traxxas 4 Tech 2.0 all-wheel drive chassis is built for competition on the track and there is no better way to have fun with your models than by building your own custom road course.
Building a race track doesn’t required breaking the bank and it can be assembled using materials you may already have at home.
For a basic track pieces of 2x4 lumber and cones work well.
Get creative with a layout, here are few ideas to get you started.
Lay down the 2x4 to set the borders and use the cones for corners or chicane.
Leaving the pieces loose generally works well for casual competition.
This will allow you to change the layout as needed and tear down and store the track easily.
For a more rigid track, PVC pining is an ideal solution.
Measure out your space and check the local hardware store to get the appropriate length of pipe and connector.
As cutting is necessary always take the proper safety precautions including have an adult presence to supervise.
With some basic materials, there are endless options for building and customizing your own road course.
Visit your local hobby shop to get additional ideas for setting up your track and look for genuine Traxxas accessories to customize and upgrade your model.
