Here's quick tip for reading IR numbers when you discharge your cell or pack at 30A pulse. For protection against reverse polarity of the battery pack, we did not use 12pins. 8 pin designs will eliminate the chance of reverse polarity causing serious damage to the expensive matched battery and CTX-D. Pack battery cells are connected by battery bars. 4 single cells should be connected to 8 pins directly .(No. 2, 5 cells can not be connected because there's no terminal screws) Single cell(unassembled cells like 1, 2, 3, 4cells without battery bars) IR number will be different with full 6 cell pack(or 3, 4, 6 cells connected by bars) 's IR. Single cell data will shows higher than pack's IR. When you make single cell data comparison, it should be done by single cells only, due to difference of the IR data. Belows are my way of matching IB 4200 singles cells. I hope it could help your matching job. 1.Assemble all single cells 2.Practice with new battery twice. 3.discharge with CTX-D at linear 5A, 0.9V cut 4.Leave batteries for a week 5.discharge pack before charging, Linear 5A, 09V cut 6.charge 6amp with Cell master (delta peak 6mV) 7.Discharge 30A pulse with CTX-D 8.Record Discharged time and IR on each cell 9.Rematching. Please make sure the CTXD power is On before put the packs in to CTXD. Protection mode only acts when power is on. |
