Serpent is developing a 1/8th scale buggy ! It will be called Serpent 401. 蛇仔越野车的代号应该是 Serpent401。 以下是对蛇仔的官方厂队车手Michael Salven的一个访问，关于401 Here is a small interview I made with Michael at the test: Hello Michael, thanks for the invitation to watch your first practise test with the new car. Why do you developed a 1/8th scale buggy? Well, we watched the off road scene for a while and where very impressed by the grown up of the market in the last years. Our statement is allways to mess with the best, so we decided to develop a new buggy. By the way, it is not the first time, that Serpent has developed a buggy. We did it already in former years with the Cobra. Can you tell us some details of the buggy? No, not yet. We are still testing lots of new parts and have still many ideas in the pipeline. Of course we can profit from our experiences with the development of our on road cars and you will find some parts of them also in the new 401. When do we see the car first on the race track? Well, I will try to test the buggy at the qualification rounds for the German Championships and then also drive there, but it could be hard to realize it. Will we see you with the car also at the Worlds 2006 in Indonesia I will be there personally to watch the event, but this is to early for our buggy.
